Our policies have been put in place to ensure safety, consistency, fairness, and efficiency. They include the commitment to comply with relevant legislation and regulations, and the intention to continually improve the effectiveness of the management system.

1- Occupational Health & Safety Policy

We safeguard the health, safety, and wellness of our employees. In accordance with ‘Your safety is my safety’ training program, we provide the knowledge, instruction, training, and supervision to ensure safe performance.

2- Environmental Policy

We recycle materials, minimise waste percentage, and prevent pollution to ensure the conservation of natural resources and carry out environmentally friendly processes.

3- Quality Policy

We provide our clients bespoke joinery products and services to meet their technical and commercial requirements and in accordance with relevant industry standards, practices, and statutory and regulatory requirements. Our Quality Management System (QMS) is designed to comply with International Quality Standard ISO 9001:2015 and commit to the continuous improvement of the system and shall be reviewed at least annually by senior management..

4- Alcohol and Substance Abuse Policy

It is prohibited to be under the effect of alcohol and/or any drugs during working hours, and while in company premises. When on duty at metawood, employees are prohibited from:

  • - Selling, possessing, using, manufacturing, and/or distributing drugs, including inhalants, illegal drugs, and over-the-counter drugs.
  • - Selling, possessing, using, manufacturing, and/or distributing alcoholic beverages.
  • - Driving metawood vehicles while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
  • - Using and/or distributing prescription drugs that cause drowsiness or impaired performance while working or being on metawood premises.
